The monthly doujinshi haul! (slightly not work safe for the one cover image!)
My box of doujinshi arrived this afternoon...23 books in all! Haven't yet had a chance to do more than unwrap them (Each was individually wrapped, plus bubble wrap was around the whole stack.) and update my doujinshi tally list....
I had to eat lunch and I HAD wanted to take some more cover pics...but my apartment got too hot...i have the heat turned off, its 52 outside, but someone around me must have THEIR heat on, to make my apartment so unbearably hot...I not only put the fan on, i put it on a higher speed, as I am desperately overheating here....=/
Lighting is not that good either...it's an overcast day...I tried to take pics of the stack near the windows, for better visibility, even with it not being a very brightly lit day...
Them stacked up on each other....a small few were really big ones too!
And of course I had to do a close up of the covers of the latest Valkyrie Profile additions...which brings my tally for it up to 100 books (not counting the three or four I have doubles of). They are all Alicia centric...I did page through quickly the adult one as I was VERY curious, as I didn't know this artist at all, or what the contents inside would be...sadly it wasn't a Alicia Silmeria pairing, but a book of Alicia being used sexually by both Rufus AND Lezard, while Silmeria's soul was still hosted inside her....Some of the panels...make me think there are more guys there too...cause some of those panels, there was def more dicks there shooting semen on her than just the two that were Rufus and Lezard. 0_o Its very much an adult book that seemed aimed more towards male readers than we ladies...didn't think the art inside was of the same level as that cover either...actually i looked through it so fast...I don't even remember looking to see if it was handwritten or printed text for the writing...I hope its the latter, as handwritten text can be a nightmare....unless the artist has really NEAT handwriting. *hates having to try to make sense of messy kanji*
This is my main doujinshi storage center...It's actually two seperate three drawer things, that I placed on top together, to make six levels. The top most shelf is devoted on one side to my Lezalenne VP books and the other side is all my various Tales of Doujinshi. The shelf below, both sides are devoted to the rest of my Valkyrie Profile doujinshi collection...though its starting to become apparent I am gonna need to make a fourth area for VP soon...
The third shelf, both sides are for all my Fate Universe books. most of it is Grand Order related. The under that, is basically my Axis Power Hetalia Shelf...Enough that it needed more than one side...can't remember if anything got snuck in there...
Then the next two shelves start getting to be an ecclectic mix...cause I get to the various fandoms that didn't have enough to dominate space all to themselves...so there's Alice in the country of books, Detective Conan/Case Closed, Magi, Full Metal Alchemist, Tokuen Ranbu, a whole lot of stuff....and I'm in need of a new storage place to be honest...when I do get it, will be reorganizing some of these shelves...
The bottom most isn't doujinshi, but official manga books. Which is predominatly all my Valkyrie Profile related books from Japan. Though there is also the anime manga of Sailor Moon R Patty gave me many many years ago, and one Gekijoh related to Star Ocean 2...it's also a shelf that got slightly broken and I can't get it to close completely anymore, and its hard to pull open enough to get things out of...=/
And then this is another doujinshi storage, on the opposite side of my beloved entertainment center...its real close to my computer too...the top two shelves are all Fire Emblem Three Houses books...the bottom became like a video game related doujinshi shelf plus some Sailor Moon....although I want to get another one of the storage displays like THIS One, and make this one and all Fire Emblem storage place, as I have a bunch of Fire Emblem Fate books not yet put away...cause I have been needing to get more space. ^^''
