2010 was a great year for me when it came to photography. I spent a lot of money on equipment (ok, way too much money) but the souvenirs I got from it are priceless. I survived my first real winter. Snow! Ice on the roads! Snow! Snow! Snow! What a change from the south west of France! It was great. Riding in the snow had always been a dream of mine and that dream came true this past winter. Here's a taste of what it was like:

It's been a month since I officially entered the 'Education Nationale' and began teaching and I'm already wiped out. Seriously, I've never been so tired in my life. We have a very heavy 'training course' to follow in addition to our regular teaching duties and they keep demanding things left and right. So the results for the written part of the CAPES are in and it looks like I made it. That wins me a ticket to go to Toulouse (luckily, it's not too far from Bordeaux.
