My girl cracks me up
Lila's # 1 baby at home is "Pink Baby Two". There is no pink baby one. Just two. For the longest time, very much in contrast with her cousin Iris who was very into naming things, she didn't name her toys.
Now she comes up with the most unusual names. Where Iris names her babies Joanne (her Nana's name) or Linda, Lila has been stringing sounds together and creating names. What's your baby's name? "Ashell." Michelle? "No, ASHELL." Today Mary asked her what her baby's name was (a baby doll Grandpa bought at Plagman's Barn that is supposed to be a baby Cinderella - which now has multiple pen marks all over it's face as "make-up"). "Cinda." Linda? "No, Cinda." Wish I could remember the rest of them - such a great imagination.
She's also into telling us we're the BEST. "You're the BEST, Mommy!" Thanks, Lila, you're the best. "And you're the BEST, Dada!" She gets so excited about it. I get her some juice that she really wants and suddenly I'm the best. Awesome. :)
