Yunho arrived at the Kim’s just past afternoon. He was with his parents who cancelled all their appointments today to talk to Jaejoong’s parents. His mother called Mrs. Kim beforehand to get the latter ready. She told her that there was something really important that they have to talk about and it should be with their husbands as well as with Doojoon’s parents.

Yoona knew well the reason why Yunho was there and it was good that her son was still at school.

The door to the house opened and Yoona welcomed them. Yunho saw Doojoon’s parents having a conversation with Mr. Kim. They weren’t smiling and they seemed tense. He was too close to frowning but everything changed when he heard the voice of his son. He searched for the voice and found the little boy just behind the couch.

“Binnie, come here for a second.” Yoona called for her grandson who happily obeyed her. Once the little boy saw new faces, he instantly became shy so he hid behind his grandmother and only his one eye was visible to the others.

“This is Moonbin. Binnie they are my friends and Yunho here” he patted Yunho on the back. “is your umma’s best friend. You have a best buddy too right, Binnie?” the child nodded politely as his grandmother kneeled in front of him.

“Well Binnie. There is something we have to talk about so you just have to stay inside your room, okay? Inhwan will be playing with you. We just have to wait for him.”

“Okay. Binnie will be waiting in Binnie’s room.” The boy looked up to his grandmother.

“That’s right little bunny and I’ll bring you snacks later.”

When Moonbin was upstairs already, Yoona led the three inside the office with the other parents trailing behind. They’ve been talking for almost an hour and a half when they heard the kids’s voices downstairs. Yunho who was already known as Moonbin’s father, couldn’t wait to take his son into his arms and give the little boy a heartwarming hug. He excused himself and sat beside Moonbin who was playing with Inhwan. He didn’t say anything but only stared at his son’s features.

‘He’s really like me. He’s me when I was young.’ Yunho smiled and patted the boy’s head that immediately turned his head to look who was the person who touched him.

“I’m sorry Moonbin. Did I startle you?” Moonbin shyly shook his head and let Yunho’s undeniable warmth seeped into him. He felt more comfortable with this new man’s warmth compared to his appa.

“Binnie… binnie’s a good boy uncle Yun… will you play with me too?” with the child’s cute way of asking, Yunho couldn’t help himself but gave a heartly laugh and comfortably drop his body on the floor.

“Of course Binnie. Uncle Yun will play with you too. Everytime if you wanted me too.”

The parents watched the father and son formed an immediate bond. Another thirty minutes had passed; Inhwan was already fetched by his mother. It was only Yunho and Moonbin now who was playing and Moonbin was more than happy.

It was when the door to the house opened and he heard his name being uttered by two persons. He dropped the toy he was holding and what really caught his attention was Jaejoong and Doojoon’s hands that were holding each. His once genuine smile for his son turned into a forced one.

“I’m back.” Yunho announced. Shock was clearly written all over their faces.

The elders must have heard Jaejoong’s voice that was why they stood up and walked to where they could have a glimpse of him.

“We have to talk.” Jaejoong’s mother emerged from the kitchen with Mrs. Jung and Doojoon’s mom. All three of them were sad and upset at the same time. Their eyes were strained from looking at Moonbin who was still busy and happy playing with his toy and at Jaejoong who was on the verge of crying that very moment.

Jaejoong was alarmed from seeing Yunho after all the years that past.

“Uncle Yun… Uncle Yun! Let’s play.”

Yunho kneeled in front of Moonbin and cupped the child’s face. “Later Binnie. Uncle has to talk to your umma.”

“Okay then… Binnie will wait for uncle.”

“Please do Binnie… please do.” Yunho smiled widely at Moonbin and patted the child’s head for the last time.

“Umma… Binnie will play with Uncle Yun later…” Jaejoong wiped the tear that escaped from his eyes then crouched in front of his son. Moonbin noticed it so he asked what was wrong with his mother.

“Something just got into my eye little bunny. Go play in your room, okay? I’ll be there soon.”

“But Binnie will play with Uncle Yun…” the child pouted.

“Later baby… after umma and Uncle Yun is done talking.” He pecked his son and ushered the boy to his room. He asked the housemaid to look after his son for awhile before he went back to where his parents were.

The whole work room looked crowded with all the people inside. The atmosphere seemed tense and everyone was quiet. When he stepped inside, he immediately saw Doojoon’s sad looking face. His boyfriend’s parents were lonely too. His mother looked upset especially his father.

“U-umma I…”

“Just tell us the truth Jaejoong. Is Doojoon really Moonbin’s father?” Mr. Kim cut off Jaejoong with his stern voice, making not only Jaejoong to flinch but also his mother.

“I… Moonbin’s…” But before he could finish what he was saying, his voice quivered and tears were now falling from his eyes. Jaejoong brought his hand to cover his face and dropped down on his knees. Doojoon attempted to comfort Jaejoong but his parents prevented him from doing so. Yunho tried too but he knew that Jaejoong still hasn’t forgiven him.

Seeing that no one would help Jaejoong, his mother bravely stood up but his husband stopped him. “Don’t Yoona. We have forgiven Jaejoong before and even supported him but he lied to us. We can’t just let it pass.” He heard his father said.

“Jaejoong has been through a lot. We can’t blame him.” Yoona defended but his husband wasn’t listening. Even the others just sat there and didn’t dare butt in. She brought Jaejoong into her arms and let his son cry into her.

“Hush baby. Umma will listen to you. Just tell us the truth, okay? You know that you’ll be hurting appa when you lie, right? Because it meant you don’t trust him.” His mother explained.

“Jaejoong… everyone just wanted to know the truth because it this goes on, Moonbin will get hurt also.” Mrs. Jung butt in. She was one of the calmest amongst the people inside the room whilst Doojoon’s parents were as guilty as their son.

“Tell them the truth… please Jaejoong.” Doojoon’s mother begged. It was enough. This was what they’ve been waiting for before they let their son marry Jaejoong. It just showed that their son was not the right man for Jaejoong and the little boy. Moonbin should not grow within a boundary filled with lies. They’ll just torment the child and made him feel unwanted by his own father.

Doojoon kept on fidgeting on his seat. He was torn from either telling the truth or continue with the lies but Yunho was his friend first… it just so happen that he fell in love with Jaejoong on their first meeting. Claimed that it was love at first sight but Jaejoong was always Yunho’s. He just didn’t have any idea about Yunho’s feelings about Jaejoong at that time but he could feel it… deep inside that there was something. Yunho just couldn’t explain it.

“Jae.” Doojoon finally spoke. Upon hearing his voice, Jaejoong looked up to him with his doe yes begging for help.

“Jae… I-I’m sorry.” His voice was strained because of his mixed emotions. “Tell them the truth baby. It is the right thing.”

Yunho’s hand clenched and unclenched and he fought with himself. His self control was already running low. He could see Doojoon as a traitor but he knew of Doojoon’s feelings for Jaejoong and maybe he even pushed the man into it especially when he left.

“Joon… I-I love you… please.” Jaejoong choked from his endless tears.

“It’s true. Our son Doojoon is not Moonbin’s father.” Doojoon’s father broke his silence. “We know about it but we still pursued everything. Our son loves Jaejoong so much and we too, have accepted Jaejoong even before when Doojoon was only a friend. We’ve known Doojoon’s love for Jaejoong even before this had happened and we know for sure that our son’s intention was good. This is our fault that these things got messier. We hope you’ll forgive us. We hope that you’ll understand our side.”

“For the last time Kim Jaejoong, is this true?” Mr. Kim has raised his voice and looked really angry at his son who was still on the floor being comforted by his mother.

Jaejoong was quiet for a few minutes. His father was waiting for him to answer. Everyone was getting impatient until Doojoon spoke, “Jae… I-”

“Yes it’s true! Doojoon isn’t Moonbin’s father! I’ve been such a whore appa. I gave in to people easily. I don’t even know who Binnie’s father was! Is it clear now?!” Jaejoong received a hard slap from his mother.

“For God’s sake Jaejoong, stop lying! I wanted to understand you but you are making it hard for me.”

“Please stop this.” Yunho broke his silenece. “I know for sure that Jaejoong doesn’t sleep with just anybody. I’m with him everyday. I know for sure that I am Moonbin’s father even if Jaejoong denies it. This lies, I would set it aside. All I wanted is to be with my son.” He may be calm but deep inside he was already at his limit.

When the atmosphere quieted off, some of them felt relieved.

“We’ll leave. There is nothing more to explain. Moonbin’s father is really Yunho. Our wedding is off and I’ll stay away from them. Let me just say goodbye to Moonbin.” Doojoon bowed respectfully to everyone in the room. His eyes were fixed to his lover who already stood up from the floor. Jaejoong was holding his still stinging cheeks he watched Doojoon with sad eyes.

“I’m sorry Jae. It’s my fault in the first place but thank you for everything Jae but staying away is the right thing to do. I’ll help you make Moonbin understand everything, okay?” Jaejoong just looked at him as if Doojoon betrayed him still he brought Doojoon’s hand over his cheek but his lover’s hand only lingered for a short time.

“I’m sorry Aunty Yoona… Uncle Kim.”

Doojoon left the room and gone upstairs where he found Moonbin getting bored in playing with his toys. He could hear the child mumble Yunho’s name and how he couldn’t wait for Uncle Yun to play with him. He wasn’t hurt… or maybe a little. He sighed hard before he continued his way towards the little boy. The child must have heard him and must have mistaken him for someone else.

“Uncle Yu-… appa!” Moonbin called. He was still excited but not that much compared to when it was about Yunho.

“No Binne… you could no longer call me appa.” Doojoon sat down beside Moonbin and reached for the child.

“Huh? Binnie can’t call appa, appa?” Moonbin confusedly asked. He looked up and stared at his appa.

“Yes Binnie. I’m Uncle Doojoon from now on. I-I’m not your father Binnie. Do you get what I say?” Moonbin shook his head furiously and tears began to fall from his eyes.

“Appa! Appa!” Moonbin yelled.

“Moonbin… I am not your appa. You know Uncle Yunho, right?” Moonbin nodded. “He is your father Moonbin. You should call him appa. It is Appa Yun and not Appa Joon.”

“No! No!” Moonbin was now throwing a tantrum. His little fists began pounding Doojoon on his chest.

“Stop Moonbin. You should listen. I won’t be around much anymore because you now have your appa.”

“Umma! Umma!” The child sniffed and coughed from the tears he was shedding. It was the first time that Moonbin cried like this and it was truly heart breaking.

“Binnie, you’re a good boy, right? Listen to Uncle Joon, baby. Yunho is your appa so you should call him appa.”

“Stop it. Stop it!” Jaejoong yelled and almost harshly brought Moonbin in his arms. Due to this, Moonbin began wailing even louder that it strained Jaejoong’s ears.

“My son wouldn’t understand. Even if you explain it to him a hundred times, he just wouldn’t! So stop! Stop! Stop!” Jaejoong’s yell was accompanied by his son’s growing screams. The house was noisy and not even the Kims could calm down the two.

Jaejoong just snapped out of his stupor when he felt Moonbin having difficulties with his breathing. “Oh God. Oh God. Binnie… baby… umma’s sorry. Calm down please? Hush little bunny… Umma will let Binne punish me and then umma will cook every favorite dish of his baby. Sshh…” Jaejoong cradled his son and ran his hands gently on the child’s back. He could see Yunho watching them silently and even Doojoon who was eyeing them helplessly.

“Does Umma love Binne?” Moonbin sniffed and buried his head deeper unto his mother’s neck.

“Yes baby. Umma loves Binnie so much.” That moment, Moonbin stopped crying and tightened his hold on his mother.

“I love umma too, so umma should not cry because Binnie is here… even if appa doesn’t want Binnie anymore.”

“No baby. Doojoon loves you too. When you grow up then umma will explain everything, okay? But you cannot get mad at Appa Joon.” Moonbin once again became quiet and watched sadly his appa Doojoon then his eyes ended at Yunho.

“Binnie’s a big boy.” He mumbled and let his umma caress his hair.

“I know that bunny but Binnie will forever be Umma’s baby.” Jaejoong smiled and brought his son to the bed then put the child down.

“Take a nap baby. Umma will cook your favorite pasta later so you should be ready for it, okay?” Moonbin nodded happily and instantly forgotten everything that had happened not long ago.

“I love you baby.”

“I love you too umma… and appa too.” Which appa Moonbin was talking about, he did not have any idea but he knew for sure that tomorrow will be so different compared to the yesterdays. There were still a lot to explain and a lot to argue concerning his son. This matter won’t be easily handled despite everyone being so matured about it.

“Joon, you can’t leave me yet.” Jaejoong said once he was sure that Moonbin was already asleep. “You still have to return to me my heart.” Despite Yunho’s presence, Jaejoong still spoke about his relationship with Doojoon. He just did not care. He no longer wanted Yunho. His heart belonged now to Doojoon.

“I will leave the two of you but expect to see me more after this.” Yunho said then left the two but not after kissing his son goodbye.

“We should talk too, Yunho.” Doojoon told him but he wasn’t sure if his friend heard it because before he was even done, Yunho has already left the room. It was clear to him that even Yunho was in so much pain but at the same time, shouldn’t he be the one to be blamed?

“Joon?” Jaejoong called.

“I’m sorry Jae but we have to end our relationship. Now is the right time for it. I’m sorry for hurting you and not fighting for us. Moonbin deserves to have his real family. I know deep inside… you still love Yunho. You were just denying that fact. Soon, you will realize that I am not the savior you thought I am. I love you so much Jaejoong and it also hurts me letting you go.”

“Then don’t let me go Joon. We can still continue our relationship as if these have never happened. Just please Joon?”

“Give Yunho a chance Jae and try to listen to him…” Doojoon pulled away from Jaejoong’s grasp.

“Will you still see me or Binnie?”

“Yes, I guess…”

“No! Promise me!” Jaejoong’s tears began flowing again.

“I can’t Jae. For now, it would be like this. It should be enough Jae.”

Jaejoong opened his mouth as if to speak but nothing came out. He only brought his body closer to Doojoon and listen to his lover’s heart beat. This used to calm him but now it’s of no purpose. It only made him even sadder that he felt like giving up but Doojoon was still there. They could still see each other. For now, he will use every opportunity to be with the one he loved even if people will see this as something inappropriate.

I'll be on hiatus up to the third week of October.
Anyone who wishes to leave and stop reading this... it's alright though it will really make me sad and upset and down... =((

It's the dreaded FINALS month and it's totally embarrassing to say that I have to do my best this time because I failed 3 subjects on my midterms... (I'm super lazy)... though I was able to pass them on prelims... still, it's a total fail.

I still hope that I will be able to see everyone on my next update.

Another crappy update. I suck big time.

Anyways, Thank you everyone =))
