Being an Adult
Being an Adult takes stamina. The amount of sustained work I have to do for my job and the drive I have to have to keep going at all my music activities, seems insane to me if I look at it from my former school going self. The brain power is unfortunately limited in most of my job and much of work seems tedious. School prepares you for that though.
I was exhausted on Sunday and Monday because of all the rehearsals and not getting enough sleep. I couldn’t do anything because I was so tired yesterday. The great thing is I feel like I am accomplishing something. Music is a sincere part of my life.
I got the letter for being on “stand by” with the Washington Opera. Not surprising, totally what I expected. One year I will get in.
