in preschool, we had an ice day. The day before you were supposed to make colored ice blocks in different shapes and fill them with unnecessary toys and in odd shapes, and we'd bring them to school and put them on the really huge ice block the ice man would bring on that day, in huge beautiful towers of ice a la pyschedelic paisley.

the day after that was mud day.

right now, it feels like my ice day has way too many towers.
nationals is next week
mothers day is in three days
projects and homework
finals.
