4th of july
what a fucking stupid holiday. i could understand paying reguards to long dead people for a battle they fought but how we celebrate it is kinda fucked up...we light things that strongly resemble cannons and watch the pretty colors further polluting the atmosphere...if you think about it, early summer is a prime time for birds and other animals to breed, where i live in washington there are shitloads of trees, everywhere. And while im watching these smoky things go off, and in a unending cloud the smoke wafts into a nearby forest, from ground level to maybe 15 feet is a layer of smoke you could almost cut with a knife...and you wonder how good it is for baby birds to be breathing that for hours at a time, could a human baby survive if one was in that same forest, most likely, and its only for a few hours...but no human would willingly put their child in a smoke filled enviornment unless they're an idiot...other than making shitloads of smoke fireworks are a horrible way to commemerate people who died on a smokey battlefeild, with loud noises like mortars going off. what better way to say we appreciate your death than to poorly recreate a battle feild with no comprehension of a sheel shocked person praying to god for peace...but hey, go circulate some cash and if your lucky you can horrifically scar yourself our a close family member for life and never participate in this fucking anal holiday again, but theres an upside, maybe this burn victim will be mentally scarred by this holiday so every time they hear a loud bang they'll piss there pants and go into a shell shock which would help this sad person further understand the horrors of war...but hey, the 4th is an excuse to spend time with family, which is why i hate holidays even more than monday...unless i have the day off, then sundays suck more pimply ass...two suck ass days right next to each other...
