live sounds better
so i went and saw regurgitator the other night - suprisingly they rocked out.
i was well shocked, i thought they'd be alright, but they ripped
it. before them was this NZ group called the mint chicks
they were mad posers, but pulled it off. awesome style,
punky, rocky, rhythmically nuts music, lots of stop starts like that post-punk
gear i guess. their drummer was stupid good.
then last night i went and saw architecture in helsinki! woooooo! they are
so great! made me so happy to hear this music, exuberant and innocent
and rockin too. at one point, their last song i guess, there was nearly 20
people on stage all playing different percussion and stuff and just having a
mad time. so cool!
plus: got a new USB audio capture interface for my puter and my
bro is posting me his rode NT3 from melbourne, so that'll be nice! could
help push these satellites along, cos i feel hectic busy with no spare time.
i've gotta practice for sunday too. and work, and maybe go to
another show tonight - that would be the 4th in a row... which may be
a little bit... optimistic? hmmmmmm....
