Can't we all just get along?

I have an update already on Operation Annoy Neighbors To Our Left.

Our landlords, Raimond and Edith, have been noticing strange behavior with the neighbor's cars since we moved in. They have had problems with these people in the past so to see them not utilizing their driveway seems weird to the married couple. They are very particular about what is theirs though they are adamant about not helping with the pruning of their tree that is hanging in our yard. Apparently, one of the branches is scraping the baby son's window. It wakes him up so of course he's crying in the middle of the night. When they asked the neighbors if they could help cut the branch they told our landlords, "That’s your problem." Raimond is not too sure about cutting the branch even though by law you can after talking with the neighbors. So basically Raimond and Edith are not the biggest fans of the Neighbors To Our Left either.

When Steve goes over with our rent, he and Raimond have a nice chat about these wonderful people. Steve admits to what I'm doing to the neighbors with the car situation and both Raimond and Edith have been laughing about it. They knew something was going on. Raimond refers it to the Germans attacking the Russians which I know probably interests history buff Steve. He said that the Germans had to retreat after awhile since the Russian winter took over. He suspects that once it gets cold, they are going to want to park in their driveway again. There is no way that he's walking from the street.

So I'm relieved that our landlords are okay with my scheme. The plot is thickening though. Tonight when getting back at 945, I make sure to park Pedey F. flush to their driveway. As I walk towards my place, their porch light sensor does not go on. Confused, I look at the dark house and see a faint light towards the back of a room and a looming shadow watching me out their living room window. It's creepy but it gives me an idea. If that light stays off, I may just have to fork their lawn.

But in the meantime, I'm borrowing dad's saw this weekend.

he's stuck with me
