So I'm sitting in my Property Law class this morning, yawning my balls off and being generally bored. My professor is snarky, and I think his dry sense of humor is tremendous, but it's the lipstick on a pig of a boring class. So anyways, we turn to this case concerning ownership rights for an underground oil field that spans multiple properties. He gets his chalkboard diagram on to demonstrate his point, which I've roughly recreated via MSPAINT below. I'm sitting there with a shit eating grin on my face, trying to contain the perpetual 15 year old inside me who wants to stand up and shout "I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE! I DRINK IT DOWNNNNNN!". I brought it up to a bro after class and got a lackluster chuckle. Law school kids are boners. This shit seriously made my day.
