1. When selling an item, don't give preference to a girl just because you found out via Facebook that she's smoking hot. In all likelihood, she'll send you sporadic text messages, blow you off multiple times, make flighty excuses, and break your heart.
2. When re-listing said item because the hot chick bailed, and a kid that you played t-ball/went to college with emails you about it, set aside all of the socially awkward moments you've shared with this kid throughout the years. Gotta make that paper.

4. Don't get discouraged when a number of people email you 'trying to get that iphone' when your ad is very clearly for an ipod.

Craigslist is a shady enough place as it is, don't muddy the waters with potentially fatal "Lost In Translation" moments.
