HA! TAKE THAT, WRITER'S BLOCK!

Thanks to everyone who replied to my last post.

I chatted with Page today and, after getting reassured that 1) using an idea I was considering for a fanfic wasn't "cheating" and 2) that the idea was actually an interesting one, I sat down and wrote for...*checks clock* about two hours. And now I have a six page (okay, fine, five-and-a-third) scene that I think is pretty awesome. It definitely needs someone to go over it, but I'm very much pleased with it.

Also, I need food. And to do my Japanese homework. And to prepare the ingrediants for stew, because the meat was frozen last night.

Busy busy busy.

ETA: The rest of my day.
We learned what is essentially future-tense in Japanese. You use casual enthusiastic-invitation form (ie Let's go to the park!), and then slap to omoimasu on the end. This basically means "I've decided to do (insert action)". I'm under the impression that that's about as close as Japanese gets to future-tense, but I could be wrong.

In my graphic novel class, we discussed Watchmen. The teacher told me to make a post comparing and contrasting various Watchmen characters with their DC counterparts when I mentioned it, so that people not familiar with comics could check that out. I'll do that later.

And the last thing, I got some knee socks, so I can wear my boots without getting blisters or bunched up socks. Yaaaaaaay!
