it begins...
Tonight, I believe my friends and I have inadvertently started a new tradition.
It started with us playing Magic while throwing in a movie to have as background noise (as we often do), but as time went by, we were just drawn in to the movies themselves. Why? Because they SUCKED. It turned into a triple-feature of mind-numbing theatrical garbage. The movies were:
- Jurassic Park III
- Johnny Mnemonic
- Batman & Robin
I never thought I'd say this...but I think Johnny Mnemonic was the best movie I saw all day. And make no mistake - it is a TERRIBLE movie. It may even ahve the worst dialogue I've ever heard. The others are just that bad. This is, if I have anything to say about it, the first of many in what I think I'm going to call 'FecesFest'. I'm already considering some movies for FecesFest II, and I'd like to have that happen before the end of the summer. If you're intersted, or have a movie to suggest (I'm pretty sure I know what I'm gonna go with, though), let me know. Hopefully soon I will have a date and schedule set for it, and you're of course all invited. :)
