[Sasori is just overwhelmed, seeing this, feeling this.

In the rare times he ever considered dying, he thought he would be forgotten, just as his parents had been forgotten and not spoken of by everyone else. It was almost like they had never existed at all, except for him.

It had never occurred to him that anyone would do something like this. That anyone would...

He may dismiss Deidara's artistic philosophy continuously, but it's not as though Sasori has never understood it. He disagrees with it, but he's always understood it. But saying that he understands is something that he never intended to say.

There's a lot of things that he understands and has always understood, that he knows both of them, on some level, have always understood.

But he would never say it. Neither of them would ever say it. Because it's just...not something that is ever said, or should ever be said.

Because then, everything would be different. And he knows both of them are comfortable with how things are, and have always been.

Besides, if both of them understand it, does it really even need to be said at all?

It takes him quite some time after watching this, before he is able to respond.

When he does, he uses that same irritated tone that he always does when confronted with these sorts of situations.]

Hmph.

Well, I hope you enjoyed that, because I don't intend to give you the chance to ever repeat it.

[He knows that like so many other things, this too, is something that will be understood.]

[Deidara knew Sasori would respond eventually, and wasn't sure what he would say. Deidara considers himself fairly good at predicting his partner's actions, but when dreams bring up things that were never meant to be said, it makes the situation strange.

It doesn't show on his face, though, for longer than a flicker of something softer than he usually displays. He doesn't notice it, though, and his smirk covers it up quickly.]

I guess we'll see, Danna.
