Always leave 'em wanting more . . .

If life was fair, each of the following stories would have a sequel. They may not be the best stories in their respective fandoms (although all are very good), but they all have left me awake at night wondering the eternal question:

What happens next?

Due South

Future Perfect by ladybug

Author's Summary: Ray is having trouble sleeping. When Fraser finds out why they end up working a new case. Only the crime hasn't been committed yet.

Notes: PG gen. RayK. I enjoy this story beyond all sense or reason. Ladybug peppers Future Perfect with tantalizing bits of backstory that will never come to light. I have to confess, no small part of starting a recs page is my hope someone else will fall in love with this story and write more.

PS: If anyone knows this author's homepage please let me know.

Buffy

Friends Come in All Sizes by Kath

Author's Summary: What if, when Wesley first came to Sunnydale, he actually made a friend?

Notes: G gen. Cute. I'd love to see an AU based around this premise. I love the underdogs and the Wesley and Dawn pictured here would have made for a hilarious team.

Chance Encounters by Kath

Author's Summary: Let's go back and play with history a bit.

Notes: G gen. Again, cute. And a little sad.

Magnificent Seven

Infidelities by Yolande

Author's Summary: None given.

My Summary: Chris must face the possible ramifications of his father's actions.

Notes: PG gen. I'd like to see Ezra's take on all of this, esp. if the answer at the end were different.

The Fugitive by Leanne Grant

Author's Summary: The original idea for basing a story on the film The Fugitive came from Denise, so thank you Denise for the rabid plot bunny that’s taken permanent residence under my desk.

Notes: PG-13 gen. In the interest of full disclosure I should tell you that The Fugitive is one of my favorite movies. Still, I was sceptical when I first saw Leanne's story since so many stories that tranpose characters of one fandom into another are so poorly done. No worries, though. Leanne has woven M7 and The Fugitive and her own incredible imagination into something completely new.
