Spike and Angel sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. They certainly did have their fun. I heard them canoodlng in the bag as we walked back to NK's apartment. My only regret was we didn't get a photo of the two of them wrestling each other next to a "Curb your dog" sign. Ah, there's always next time.
Heh heh, isn't it great? What a surprise to both myself and NK that they were practically as enthusiastic as we were. It was so cute watching them bang the dolls together. They're NKs dolls, so I really have no say in the matter, but I think it'd be funny to do an occasional series w/ them in different NY neighborhoods with special guests.
Something I forgot to mention in the post was while I was posing them on the bike seat, a minivan drove up alongside the curb and a lady popped her head out asking for directions to Canal St. NK was very helpful and pointed her in the right direction. Meanwhile, I'm standing there feeling like an ass fussing with these over-sized action figures. She didn't seem to notice though, lol. But that's NY for ya.
Bwaaaahahahaha! Those are fabulous! Aww, I love the reaction of the EMTs when they saw the dolls; it was adorable. And LMAO at the dolly rumpy pumpy! (Here by way of a rec at darker_spike.)

LMAO at your doll posts. Thanks for linking that. Highly amusing. The only difference is Herself and I made asses of ourselves in public, and you keep the wackiness to the confines of your home. I challenge you to take it outside and show the world! Maybe you can get members of law enforcement to pose with the dolls. I was tempted to when we passed a police cruiser, but then I thought better of it...
*grin* Oh, I've done the ass-in-public thing, too! During the summer between BtVS Season 7 and AtS Season 5, one of my friends and I took a road trip to Florida and brought along her homemade Spike doll. That poor creature got posed in the most insane places, while strangers in the street walked past us and stared. And then there was the James Marsters convention where at least a dozen of us went staggering all over the Queen Mary with little Spikes and Angels and Ozes, laughing hysterically and doing things like this:
