It's highly recommended that Jamie's fingers not do more than itch. This is proooobably the kind of place that would notice something walking out the door unpaid-for, and besides, it'd get in the way of their Gather Information check.

Jamie's never been a scholarly sort; tragically, first editions don't mean much to him beyond the dollar value. If he never had to read another book in his life, it'd be too soon for him.
He shoves his hands into his pockets. Pockets which, unfortunately, are probably not really large enough to shove a full-size book into . . . maybe he'll come back later with larger ones. After their mission or whatever this is is done.

She stops midsentence, goes still, and looks around the building's ceiling, like she's looking for stereo speakers. (There are a few of those around, but they're blissfully silent at the moment; the background noise is provided entirely by the crowd that's starting to come in.)
