Okay now for the Part 3. The conclusion. The actual wedding. I made the mistake of going snagging a ride with Chris and Robby of all people to go to the wedding which was soooo freakin far in the "bushes", forgetting that any long rides with Chris and Robby ends in fights and squabbles and this drive was no exception. But whatever. I was just glad to finally reach the place. It was sooo far out of the way, in the middle of nowhere, that I was beginning to get afraid that we would reach there. Luckily, I reached there, and the wedding was already in full swing. Since we were following Uncle Ramesh's car, we had reached the same time as him and his family, and we took a group photo with him, Aunt Mala, Narin, Chris, Robby and me. I can't remember if Vernie was in the picture though. Maybe he was the one that took the actual photo, lol, I don't know, my memory's kinda fuzzy on that, but if he wasn't in the picture he should have been, since he's part of the fam also. I really had fun hanging out with those guys these past few days. Anyway, almost as soon as we got to the wedding we sat down to eat, before I went to take in the rest of the wedding with Sherrie-Ann. In between though, I got a chance to catch up with Cindy, Ravi and the kids. Cindy ditched sitting with Sherrie-Ann altogether. Ouch. Anyway, the wedding wrapped up surprisingly quick(or could it have seemed so since we arrived super late?) and I hung out a bit more with Chris, Robby, Vidya, Mala, Ramesh, Narin, Vernie, Sunil and a couple other guys at some relative's place(relative of the bride that is), where we drank and just chilled. On the way home though, I had a particularly funny experience when I almost couldn't control my bladder, but surprisingly, even though it took forever to reach the wedding house, we seemed to reach back home pretty quick, where the reception continued at Dinesh's place, where the party atmosphere raged on! I even surprised myself when I-Mr. Shy, Reclusive Kavin- danced my heart out, grabbing the attention of practically everyone. But I couldn't help it. Little Satesh looked absolutely adorable when he started dancing to the sounds of the tassa drums, and I couldn't help but dance along with the little guy. It was definitely one of the highlights of yesterday's festivities. Who knew I would enjoy being such an attention grabber?! Anyway, the rest of the evening continued well, with me hanging out with Varma mostly. The only little bad parts of the evening that I have to complain about, is that I caught some dude taking a piss near the back gate of my house, and finding empty beer bottles on my front lawn. Aside from that, it was a great way to spend my Sunday. Heck my whole weekend actually. These past three days has been a blast. I may have said it before, but I'll say it again, who would have thought that I would enjoy going to Dinesh's wedding? A guy, who even though I've lived next door to him since birth, I haven't more than one conversation with in my entire life. But hey, I had so much fun at his wedding, here's to hoping that his brother gets married soon also! I could do with another wedding like this one in our neighborhood again, lol!
