(no subject)
I have the word "vituperative" stuck in my head. And AP mulitple choice tests are sort of taking over my life. I'm so good at them...today I only got 13 wrong out of 20! How psyched I am! (sarcastic undertones are implied...or are they?? Better not read too much into it...)
School was just stupid today. I felt all wretchedly pissed about it earlier but have realized that it's not worth the energy. That place has grown too ridiculous for me to even handle. Luckily I know that I'm not alone...I'm not the only one who's being sucked into the vortex.
I accomplished a great deal when I got home: chemistry was conquered, concerto practicing was fully owned, and I even completed 9 or so of those make up AP questions. Extremely proud of self. Actually find deep pleasure in turning tables with the eff-tastic satan-hugging College Board. I could so easily forfeit $22.00 and just not show up for the exam. That would certainly brighten the first week in May.
Dance tonight was the best it's been in such a long time! We had dress rehearsal, despite the dearth of blue dresses for half the group, and sans my seal gloves for "fever"...but it was in fact a great rehearsal. I wasn't even at all tired despite six runs of the two dances. Jenn and Dusty even commended me for my great job tonight, and it seems like forever since I've had that strong of an assurance for those dances. So snaps! We dance with umbrellas-- there's just nothing better. And Jenn watched the video of us from Saturday night, and apparently it was awesome by her standards, which is quite the compliment. I can't wait to see that on Thursday night!
And so my week will be relatively mundane-- sectionals again on Wednesday, lesson on the Thursday which will include videotaping, the usual dance, dinner concert on Friday night, mandatory solo rehearsal on Saturday morning...next week promises to be absolute chaos though...and I recite the following for my own personal organizational purposes...
4/3 dance, blue dresses
4/4 dance
4/5 hamlet in the cities, dance
4/6 starquest starts...?, dance
4/7 to cities in afternoon, dinner, sterling plays at joshua bell concert, attends concert, leaves for home while I stay in the cities, do I dance at all that day?
4/8 oh fack I just remembered olaf open house that day. well, can't go. dance competition at northrop.
4/9 dance competition. head home at time tba.
4/10 leave for florida at 10 am. from duluth.
I'm going to be positive about it and predict that it will be a rollicking good adventure. Don't think about what you're going to do wrong. Declare what it is you are going to do right.
