I am looking for criticisms of classical Greco-Roman theogony. Preferably from late antiquity or earlier. I recall reading such a criticism which claimed it was absurd to have a historicist view of the Theogony because it assumed the gods had physical bodies. First off I apologize for not writing more about my project - a group of songs based in ancient myth and history - and I had way too many songs for the actual presentation itself.
