My Hot Water System Hates Me

The heading says it all, because it does. Anyone who's been keeping up with my journal knows that I have had issues with my hot water service. Well, now the bloody thing has decided to go on strike. Yep, you read correctly, it has stopped working. It's set so that it warms up of a night, but now when it's supposed to warm up it is doing something weird and flipping off the circuit breaker on the power box that's tied to the water service, thus I have no hot water. If I want hot water, I have to boil the kettle. Looks like I'm back to pouring water in a bucket and washing myself with a cloth again. Damned thing. If anything, the smell is gone!

On a more positive note, my phone is on. It was switched on yesterday, and last night before CSI: NY I spent two hours talking to Mum. I also spoke to Dad for a while, and little sis didn't want to talk save for a shouted "hello" in the background. Stalker of Shadows wasn't home. I must find out what the number is to her unit in Bendigo so I can call her. Anyway, I'm another step closer to having the internet at home. Next step will be the computer arriving, and after that it will simply be a matter of organising the internet itself. So close and yet so far...

And just as a piece of randomness, I recently bought the Bones season 1 box set and noticed something. Firstly, there are two actors that appear briefly in it as guest stars that are both detectives on CSI, namely Alex Carter (Dect. Tony Vartann) and José Zúñiga (Dect. Cavaliere). Also, in one episode there was a character named Charles Gregory Sanders. I think you see where I'm going there. Told you, random.

Well, back to work. I'm writing up the sheet for the year 9s research task. Technically, I'm supposed to be correcting the year 11/12s Literature Outcomes, but I'll get around to it eventually. Still need to work out what I'm doing with the year 7s today...
