still here, intermittently (did i misspell that?)
So the construction on my apartment is finished but my landlady still hasn't moved back into her office (which adjoins my apt), so I still have no internet. I'm actually hoping she decides not to move back in so that I can take over the extra room (right now the doorway b/w my apt and her office has been closed off) and have an ACTUAL BEDROOM. But either way, until she either moves back in or confirms that she's not going to, I'm mostly w/o internet. Occasionally I'll get little flashes from a neighbor's unprotected network (like right now), but mostly it's nothing.
So be advised - I'm still around; I'll come back full-time at some point, and I really do care about you all and hope you're well.
In news of my life: Lots of work stress lately, but also lots of fun stuff. Went wine tasting a few weeks ago w/ Katie's family. A few ill-fated fundraisers (drinking for charity apparently never ends well for me). Last weekend, had a big ol' USC-type reunion in LA - spent the weekend down there beaching and hanging w/ my girls. So much fun. This weekend - wine tasting that turned into a sloppy night at a bar on Friday, vietnamese food and naps yesterday, beach bbq at some point today, which I'm guessing is also going to end sloppily. I have fun photos that I'll flickr when my internet is more reliable.
I swear I do more than just drink. And I'll be back soon.
