i made ALL my door decorations - all 60 of them. i cut up the art cards, glued them, taped them. cut name strips and glued them, painted and added jewels. I did it whilst watching the project runway marathon (I do NOT like that the eliminated the person they did ACK) so it wasn't all that painful.
afterwards i got back to painting rayguns and oggling my goggles. i finished the mask-styled pair in addition to the one i posted pictures of. I have made the metal frames for 2 more pairs and a pseudo opera glass thingermajib.
they have informercials on right now. i think the Oreck man might actually be the Perdue man. They've been hiding it for years. of course, i stand by my theories that the eHarmony guy is the reject younger brother of Colonel Sanders and Steve Irwin was the first experiment in human cloning (crocs would eat him, and they'd bring out more copies).
I'm thinking of doing the info board for the month on subcultures and a couple of icons/slang terms for each group. it's that or drugs/alcohol/sex assault. so yes - urban tribe info wins out.
the commercials are irking me now - perhaps time for sleeps.
O! i'm in the middle of 'The Time Traveler's Wife' - after that i'll go back and finish journey to the center of the earth. i still need to get my books for pre-modern science. i'd love to go back and re-read The Time Machine - i haven't read it since middle school and it was always one of my favorites.
