Really, I do!
Yesterday was a really demoralizing, depressing day and I think just about everyone we know knows and understands that. The absolutely incredible outpouring of love and affection was so uplifting that it made our difficulties bearable. Thank you all.
Today Stuart is back at the job search with renewed vigour. We have an astonishing number of promising leads (I told you we had incredible friends) and we're feeling pretty good about it all.
I get my new CPAP machine in less than an hour, so that means good things (I hope). We have pretty high hopes that this machine will do a lot to improve my quality of life. Thanks to various government programs the cost to us is $0. Yep, you read that right! $0. One more thing to be grateful for.
On the downside, we're going to have to take our car off the road if Stuart doesn't have a job by February 8th. The insurance runs out then and it'll cost us $1200 to renew (for 6 months - our credit is too lousy for them to let us go month to month right now). That will totally suck if it happens, but at least we have reasonable bus access.
