(no subject)
finally i get a chance to update. i have been so busy. kinda nice... i got really sick of not doing anything. but now i am sitting in a room at the university club (downtown) with two sleeping little girls. i am babysitting while my "step cousin" (if you wanna call it that) has her wedding reception. its cool. thank god there is a computer here. or i would be stuck reading crime and punishment. yuck. so anyway... just got back from michigan.
Highlights:
1) meeting this really cool guy, cory, who is like the only liberal at his school. he lives up where our cottage is. having political conversations with him.
2) getting to know the Maynards better (yes, Thane Maynard, the 90-Second Naturalist) espcially Lily, who is a year younger then me. Oh! Guess who Lily goes out with.... Mr Filio's Son!! hehe. i got a kick out of that.
3) Ani Difranco concert at Interlochen. In-Fricken-Credible. i heart her so much.
4) My grandpa not being at the cottage cuz he was constantly out with this new "lady friend" all the time.
5) long talks with my mom about stuff she probebly shouldn't tell me but does anyway.
overall it was a good trip. probebly the best since i was little. i used to get so bored up there... all alone. but this time i had my license. so it was much better. even if i only got to leave to pick up a pizza or something along those lines. my summer has been pretty good. looking up more and more. there have been some rough times. but i seem to have gotten back that whole relaxed thing that i used to have. where big deal things just rolled off me. the only thing i am upset about now is my stupid knees which are hurting more frequently and my seizures. yesteday i thought i was gunna have one while driving on 75. scary... but through the school year i feel like i got so wound up and everything would bother me. now i just feel relaxed. i havn't been mad in like weeks. its crazyness. well really mad. i got a little mad yesteday. but thats between me and one of my new found friends Becca. i actually really like all the Coney people. Paige cracks me up. JT one of the head guys actually gets along with me. Kevin the little security guard makes me so happy. cuz he is so funny. and of course Rose, Rose, Megan, Becca, Cory etc.
but now i must go. call me! hehe i miss everybody. i saw Ploy for the first time all summer today and it made me realize how desperetly i need to see everybody. so please call or just leave a message here. i think a party might need to be had at the Roche household...
