Continuing on with both our milestone celebration and attempt to try new things, we shall be hosting our very first CLAMP Icon Challenge! I've always wanted to do one of these...

Do we have to include all three themes (Alone, ABC's & Accidentally in love) for one icon or just the one of the three/four in the row?

You only have to feature one of the themes provided on each icon, not all three listed across a row. I have them arranged into columns to prevent neededless scrolling and then categorized by type to keep things more organized :)

Does each icon need a different picture? Or can you use different crops and use the same image for two different themes?

You can use the same image for more than one icon, provided there is some amount of distinction between them such as a different crop, colouring etc. to ensure that it is still a challenge.

When you say portrays one male and one female character for Mars and Venus, can you also include inanimate objects, like flowers, or does it have to have only a male and female character?

Your icon must feature one male and one female, no more or less. But other than that, you are welcome to include inanimate objects and the like, just nothing else that would be considered a character.

Sorry if it's a bit stupid, but I have a question... you said second claims are allowed, does it mean one series can be claimed by two people now or that a person who already has one claim can take another?

I guess that was a pretty vague edit on my part, it made much more sense in combination with the original annoucement posted at the same time. Anyway, I meant the latter: a member that already claimed a series is now allowed to take on another if they wish, since the list wasn't completed yet. It's only one member per series and claims are granted on a first come first served basis... but there are still quite a few popular CLAMP series left if you're interested in participating :)

It's ok, just do your best to finish the remaining few icons by tomorrow night because after Week 302 results go up I'll be making the reveal post and I'd like to be able share all your lovely graphics with the other members by including your link. If you do so, you are still free to request a banner and claim your cards too :)
