(no subject)
OH My God! Just got back from Flogging Molly like a few minutes ago and it was AMAZING!!! THe opening bands were crap and there was an extended period of waiting around for nothing, but then they came on and i was like, "So this is what it feels like to be in heaven!"
Some random notables from the concert:
-Kadavis was pushed to the outskirts of the moshpit where she watched me apparently hop around like a rabbit.
-At the end i was the equivalent of having jumped in a lake. Soaked through three T-Shirts, guys! A new record.
-Realized during the middle i was rocking back and forth with my arms around two guys: One naked from the waist up and covered in man sweat. Delicious. THe Other smelling strongly of urine. NOw the strange part: I didn't care. I actually kind of enjoyed it. Especially since two men came up behind me and two more in the front. IT was a triple layer Amber sandwich. or Ambwich, if you will.
-Got to see Concert Davis. LEt me tell you: No pretty sight.
-Crowd surfed. Only a few feet but fucking awesome to have all those hands on me.
OK Now for the business: Please give all your money to the victims of Fucking Hurricane Katrina. I've become very attached to this cause and the President's lack of quick response. Yes, they are poor black communities who probably didn't vote for you. (i was speaking to the PRes just then not to YOU)
