while i would tend to agree with you most times that actually knowing is worse, it is so much better to be sure of something than to just keep hoping things work out..because if they eventually don't, you just psyched yourself out.
and guys? yeah, they don't have the same type of rationalizing capabilities as girls. they just..don't. common sense just does not come naturally to them.
