[Action - 460 Stone Street and outside]
[Tsubaki awakes in an instant, and it takes all her self-control not to scream. For one brief, horrible moment she believes she's still in the middle of the wrecked street with Yuno, struggling helplessly as her "sister" hacked away at her with an axe. But then that phantom pain is gone, and she's able to make out the now-familiar shapes and colors of her room.
The room in the house she shares with her murderer.
She doesn't have time to wonder why is she not dead. She needs to get out of this house now. She's careful, though; she listens, making sure she can't hear the sounds of anyone. By now she knows the house (or at least the path from her room to downstairs) well enough so that she can quickly make her way down and out... after which she trips over the package that had been lying in front of the door. Cursing, she picks it up, squinting to make out the writing on it. It's.... addressed to her.
Suspicious, she slowly opens the box, handling it as if it were a bomb. Gingerly pulling the item out of it, she realizes that she knows what this is. The one thing that had kept her going all those horrible years in the hands of the cult, the thing that kept her anchored to reality and kept her mind from being completely swallowed up by darkness and hatred.
An ornate red ball, the last thing her mother had given her before she and her father had died. A simple thing, something most people wouldn't believe had such a big significance to her... but this was the only thing she truly wanted back.]
... Hmph. After all that's happened, I guess I've been forced to give my thanks to this place.
[She stands, ball in hand, and dusts her skirt off. After taking one last glance back into the house, she sets off down the street. She's not sure where she's going, but maybe a walk around town would at least calm her enough to form some kind of plan.]
