“But baby…” the girl whined.
“Audrey, I have to go.” Brendon said firmly, pulling the girls hands from his shoulders.
“But Brendon…”
“Audrey, I’m gay.” He snapped. Audrey stepped back quickly.
“Brendon, you’re so funny.” She giggled, draping her arms back onto his shoulders.
“I’m not kidding. I’ve been seeing Spencer for six months. It’s over, Audrey. I can’t deal with you anymore.”
“But I love you.” She sniffled, before bursting into tears.
“I want you gone when I get back.” Brendon pushed Audrey away and left. Spencer was waiting out the front in his car. “I dumped her. It’s over. Spence, I want you to move in with me.” Brendon said everything in one breath, before pulling Spencer towards him in a kiss. He could feel Spencer grinning against his lips.
“You know just how to make me the happiest person ever.” Spencer said. “Where do you want to go?”
“Anywhere, Spencer. You choose.” Brendon said, resting his hands on top of Spencer’s. Upon glancing back at the house, Brendon could see Audrey watching him from the living room window. He grinned wickedly and kissed the back of Spencer’s hand.
“Brendon, what are you thinking?”
“That we should stay here to piss Audrey off.”
“You’re evil, you know that?” Spencer climbed out of the car and headed towards the house with Brendon in tow.
“But you love me, right?”
“Always.”
