Marching Cattle
My flatmates are so fricken cool. The band has written a Space Odyssey song, and it is the most awesome piece since their last song 'Paper Tigers'.
The chorus is about 'marching shadows' but due to half the band mishearing the lyrics its been changed to 'marching cattle', fantastic imagery.
But really there are some great lines, in 'Last November' the chorus goes;
I came to watch you burn,
I came to watch the fire,
Lick up round your toes,
and devour.
(and then my favourite part...)
I came to watch you fly,
But all I saw was wires,
And as I tripped you fell,
fool for hire.
Anyway point was, my god they are talented. I am secretly learning to play their songs so I can steal a place in the band. My band is momentarily not going so far.
Anyway the boys band is 'YESTERDAY'S MODEL' and they have lots of gigs coming up such as AUGUST 4th at the JETSET. It will enrich your lives and make you toe-tapping head-banging happy.
