Woohooo Happy New Year to you all!!
2009 is fresh and full of potential amazingness!
My NYE was the most lovely and fantastic ever. Mark and I got dressed up and had his house to ourselves. He made the starter and the main course, and I made the dessert. (He made divine garlic/mozzarella bread, and amazing homemade pizza. I made really yummy brownies and chocolate covered strawberries.)
He made a lovely mixed CD with really fun music which I just danced to while he was making the pizza (haha). We had dinner by candlelight and then had a drink and then danced and then snuggled together and counted down with Berlin on Sky News (haha). Then we watched the latest episode of The IT Crowd online (which was an awesome way to start the new year).
We then headed off to my parents', who had just come back from midnight mass with my aunt, and we had some drinks and general merriment. I was completely exhausted by then and just plopped into bed.
*contented sigh* =)
Now today I have lunch with Mark's parents at their house and then we have to pop over to my aunt's house (from my father's side) for drinks and hellos, and then I have to get back to some studying.
