I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. My cat Patch died Christmas eve, but in a way it was a gift that it was Christmas eve because if it hadn't been then she would have been alone at the vets but because of the holiday they sent her home with us so we got to be with her while she died. She had a good long life, almost 17 years, but still I'm going to miss her...she was the most beautiful cat in the whole entire world in my opinion...and also the reincarnation of Marie Antoinette or some other exquisetly beautiful person of extreme power and prestige...she sure had personality. In a month or so my Mom is going to get two kittens that she said I could have once she moves overseas which will be cool...
I'm honestly not going to make this all dreary.
Other than that Christmas has been okay, I'm sick though with a fun fever and a sore throat that hurts when I breath too! But also that hasn't been all bad, I didn't have to slave away in the bagel mines today and instead I got to stay at home and watch Finding Nemo with my brother and sister. There has been much ingesting of jello.
I'm also steadily making my way through the Lord of the Rings trilogy again seeing as my good ole memory is a bit foggy since the last time I read it...or you could say smokey.
On a lighter note the jello company has made this delicious new thing called jello smoothies and they are quite scrumptious...very soft and fluffy and yummy.
My dad's new/old girlfriend is back in town and he's all a flutter. Last night he was holed up in his room talking on the phone to her for about 4 hours. She got hit by a bus when she was in England...but she actually survived which is nice. It's still a question when we'll meet her, aparently the last boyfriend she had was also divorced and his kids were mean to her so she's quite tentative to meet us. Even though it sounds like she has a thing for assholes I would not take anything out on her. I might try to slip her a message in a bottle with an escape route inside but I would never blame her for my father's stupididy. Okay, so maybe I'm a little bitter...and perhaps pmsing too...sorry that y'all have to listen to it.
But one thing that I cannot get enough of and has been at an all time high this break has been hanging out with my siblings. That is one thing I really really miss at Converse, the fact that I'm missing out on time with my brother and sister. They are such awsome kids! Especially my little brother, he and I have always had a tight bond, but lately it seems even deeper. He's so halarious and clever. We just have such a blast playing around. The has the best sense of humor and I have half a mind to pack him in my suitcase and take him to south carolina with me.
Well enough boring babblings, off for another dose of jello and rest!
Holiday cheer to all!
