Just as soon as Lulu had entered the cloud of young, female hormones, a couple of girls noticed and recognized him- some in a more friendly manner and some with a bit more detachment and perhaps even unease. But it didn't take long (with him being one of two guys there so far) for May to spot him and come bounding across the room. "LULUUUU!!" she shouted, running up to hug him with probably some unintended amount of tackle tossed into it as she skidded to a halt. "Thanks for coming to the party, Lulu! Oh, don't give that look, I swear we won't try to eatya or anythin'," she assured him, seeing the look on is face at all the girls. "Ok, you can do whatever, ya know? I should introduce you, though-"

As soon as she said that, the towering Mrs. Leap approached them, giving Lelouch a soft smile. "My, what a handsome young man! You are the one they call 'Lulu', correct?" She smiled with a nod of her head in greeting. "I'm Mrs. Leap, the head of operations here at the shelter.. it's good to see we have another ally in town, from what I've heard." Looking to May, she gave her a small head-pat. "Now you be careful out there! Associating with such handsome boys will only lead to trouble," she winked, walking off again.
May blinked and shrugged. "Eh, we're just askin' for it. RIGHT, LULU!?" She gave a him a hearty slap on the back with a chuckle at his reaction to all this.

/Merde, they're going to devour me, Jesus help oh help/ He was temporarily saved by May's glomp and he stumbled to regain his balance.

"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Ms. Leap." He said, taking her hand and bowing, his aristocrat's training coming in to play.

Before his charm could have all of its intended effect, however, May, who seemed to enjoy abusing him, smacked him hard on the back and he stumbled forward into the crowd of girls, looking like a deer in headlights.

May could only laugh, half snickering from his little display of 'fancypants bowing' as she regarded it, and half in that evil sort of way that totally gave away that she was a sadist who enjoyed watching the cool and collected strategist be torn to pieces by a group of mere teenage girls. Mostly the latter. "Okay everyone, this is Lulu, he's an ally of ours, ya know? So be nice to him, okay?" The girls all leered and giggled, the various expected comments about his being cute murmuring through the crowd as a couple approached and began to greet him.

She almost would have felt bad if it weren't so damn funny.

/Stop so obviously enjoying this/ He thought, casting a glare at May. /Oh great they're all looking at me/

"Hello everybody. I'm Lelouch Lamperouge. It's a pleasure to make your acquintances." He said, tossing his hair back from his eye in an unintentionally bishie gesture.

May only smiled and wiggled her fingers at him, not even bothering to hide the great amusement anymore.
One girl, coquettishly batting her eyes in an obviously overexaggerated manner (totally not taking this seriously), was first to reply. "It's not often we get cute boys like you around here~ And now Cap'n's bringing them around all the time it seems, haha!"
Another girl nodded in agreement and grinned, "But unlike the other one," she nodded towards where Duo was, "You're free, right?" There was a sprinkling of giggles around him, the girls obviously immensely enjoying themselves. "I wonder if any others are coming around today~?" commented a third.

In an all girl crew, there was obviously some amount of novelty towards boys.

/Hate you so much right now, May./ He vowed a moment of revenge. /Well, I guess this is the price I pay for their services./

And pay it he did, as he was sorrounded by Jellyfish Pirate girls. Desperately he glanced to Maxwell, who he barely knew but could possibly provide some male solidarity.

"I am, ah, currently unattached." He said, rubbing the back of his head and looking nervous. "I haven't had the pleasure of learning your names..."

May, who had gone off to reattach herself to Duo's side, was off a little ways, but the girls pressed on. The girls of course, immediately perked at this news of his solidarity. "Well now, a cute boy with no girl? We have ourselves a winner, girls!" She chuckled. "The name here's Piper." "Dandy," replied the second, leaning on the first to whisper something. "Gem~" the third answered. "So, I hear word you're the one behind the action last week? Must be pretty hot-shot, huh? We haven't had activity like that since the Lacan went down. Been pretty boring with them, haha!"

That was more like it. The girls had succesfully entrapped him by appealing to his instinct to brag.

"You are rather sharp, that was indeed my doing. I can't take all the credit. A strategist is nothing without a tactical officer like May who can implement his plans on the fly. And as for the Lacan...that was my plan too." Lelouch practically beamed with pride as the girls were drawn into the magnetic field of his persona.

Dandy nodded. "Yeah, see, toldja so!" She nudged Piper with her elbow.
"Ahh, 's too bad. Johnny wouldn't let us go, I wanted to drill some scum into the ground," Piper nodded. "Oh well, at least they're gone, right? So how'd it all go down? We've never gotten to hear the story."
Gem giggled. "Oh yes, do tell us how you brought them down! We've all talked about it before but we never got to see the finale! How depressing~"

A few more girls had since gathered to listen, and it seemed they were surrounding Lulu more as they did- suddenly he was but a dot in the midst of a crowd of girls.

Lelouch smirked to recall it. "There was a brief shootout before I spotted Mr. Orange...A.K.A. Jeremaiah Gottwald, a P.I. i've had some run ins with before. While some of our borrowed yakuza snuck to the back of the warehouse to retrieve some needed computer files, I offered myself to Orange in exchange for May-Lee. While he drove off with me, I informed him that I had some personal information on his...predilections...that would be emailed out if I didn't stop the timer within three hours. They beat me but dropped me off by the side of the road and I was back in time for school the next day."

He resisted the urge to make little hand gestures and go DANCE MY PUPPETS, DANCE.

Hearing his tale, a few girls ooh'd and ahh'd, some giggled, and some looked thoroughly amused at his showing off. "Ah good, so that girl got away safe yeah?" Dandy shook her head. "Messed up fucks. 'f it was one of us.." A murmur of agreement ran through the crowd.

"What's a predilection...?" asked one of the younger girls, head cocking to the side. "Is that like a prediction..?" Well, With no formal education on most of their parts, Lulu's way of speaking probably went over some of their heads..

"So you must be pretty tough, huh? Wanna go a round sometime?" One of the newer girls grinned from behind a toothpick clenched between her teeth, holding a fist up in offering. There was another round of giggles.

"It's nothing important, little one." He said to the younger girl.

He was thoroughly surprised by the new girl but played it cool. "Sure, what's your game? Chess? Marksmanship? Oh, you must mean a fistfight. No thanks, you girls are the experts in that area. That's why we need each other, a strategist is nothing without tough...and pretty...soldiers like yourselves." He wouldn't have thought he'd ever steal a line from Pretty Maiden Mariner of the Sun, but there it was.

There was a derisive snort from the back of the crowd, and the girls hushed obediantly as an older blunette came forward, glaring slightly with her one eye. "My ass. I'm just followin' May's orders in those times but don't go thinkin' we're all so easily swayed in your favor, little kid," July muttered, looking around at the crowd of girls. "'was wonderin' what you all were crowdin' around here for. Jesus, you'd think you guys had never seen a boy before.. there are guys like us around here, you know. F'rget this one, he'd be too complicated. 'sides he prolly fights worth shit."

Some of the girls murmured amongst themselves at her interjection, obviously holding her words in high regard. "Ahh, but they're not all so cute as him- you were there last week, right July?" Piper asked. "What's the story?"

"Yeh," she muttered. "Not much story- that guy's an old toy of yours or something, right, kid? We just found him, May beat ths hit outta him a little, and then his buddies came to get him so we bailed." Giving Lulu a glare with her eye, she sneered. "Who ARE those buddies of his anyway? They were packing some prfetty shiny-lookin' heat."

"Who knows?" Lelouch said, approaching the girl seemingly without fear in her home turf, a nonthreatening but still haughty smile on his face. "Orange goes where the money takes him, could've been any number of shady orgs he's under the employ of...though if you believe the news, he's working under those Brittania people now, something the files from Lacan HQ support. What we do know is that he was sniffing around in your turf, playing secret agent. You know what a transponder is?" He said, slipping into the girl's dialect.

July stared at Lelouch for a moment, seemingly sizing him up, before sounding a 'tch'. "Well 'those Brittania people' better not be here for long. I don' like the looks of 'em.." she muttered. "Yeah I ain't dumb. So he was bugged and that's how they found us, right?" She shrugged. "Whatever. It's a pain in the ass, but if you're as good as you been braggin' to be, you better get 'em outta here for us, ya know. That's what you're here for, right? Cuz yer connected, in the know? She ain't really told us what you're around for," July mumbled, glancing towards May.

"I've got my finger in a few pies, but mainly my purpose is to be your strategic officer. I draw up the plans that get you what you want. My brain is a weapon in your hands. As for my fighting ability, though i'm nowhere near your level, i'm no helpless civilian that'll drag you down. However, if you prefer not to work with me, i'll talk to the captain, and you can be granted exemption. But i'd prefer we be friends..." The challenger was seemingly in the palm of his hand.

There were those who thought girls didn't need validation of their toughness but Lelouch knew better.
