Thanksgiving dinner this year was a disaster. The adults had multiple arguments over football, my cousins got into a food fight with each other, and I wound up with several scratches from trying to calm Red down after he was hit with a blob of cranberry sauce.

Can someone please remind me why I put up with the rest of this lunatic family?

My parents are talking about getting me a minor instruction permit for my birthday near the end of the year.

I guess I'd need it at some point, but I'm not exactly thrilled.

Does anyone know where I can find more of Sekaiichi Asakura's work? The most I've been able to find on my own has been Nyanderful; Google isn't much help at all, and I couldn't find anything else on /rs/ either.

This year's Memorial Day parade was boring, I don't know why my parents insisted on going to watch it. The best part wasn't even in the stupid parade itself.

Would any of you happen to be able to direct me to a decent online manual for Visual Basic so I could try to get myself started in it during the time I spend at home? We're using older stuff in the Computer Science class right now, but I figure it can't hurt to try branching out a little.
