I like this meme and I like what it points out about your particular fic - this very nearly works as a stand-alone, doesn't it?

I knew about my tendency to start with short sentences, at least for one shots, but I hadn't realized it was that often. Moreover, it doesn't show in the meme, but my first sentence is often a paragraph by itself.
It made me a bit conscious, that said, and I tried not to start the same way for the ficlet I'm writing :-p
