I only have the vaguest recollection of the real video, though at the time I must have liked it. I used to own a cassette of the albumt he song was from!
That was pretty funny. I liked the waitress getting mad when the girl left without paying.
I saw this on You Tube a couple of months ago. Very amusing.
This is probably one of my favourite 80s songs, and I still think the video is awesome - certainly better than some of the lazy minded rubbish they put together these days. It is somewhat tainted by the video for The Sun Always Shines on TV, but I try to forget that that one exists when I watch this one.
Of course, my liking of this video has nothing, nothing I tell you, to do with the fact that I used to have a huge crush on Morten Harket. ;-)
No, it wasn't bad, but it started off with a continuation of the couple in this one and I didn't like what happened much. You can find it easily on You Tube, just take a look at the first bit of it and you will see what I mean
( ... )
Yeah, I looked at the video for "The Sun Always Shines on TV" and see what you mean - no happy ending. :(
As I was looking for that video, I came across the video for "The Living Daylights" from the Bond film of the same name. I remember seeing that on TV not too long ago and being struck by the irony of Bond teaming up with the mujahadin of Afghanistan (precursor to the modern Al-Quaeda) against the USSR. That was released in 1987 and no one could have guessed where it would end up today...
I never had a-ha posters, etc, but I liked Hunting High and Low well enough to get it on CD several years ago and I have a couple of the songs from that album on my iPod. :)
Remember that conference norbertha was going to attend near me? She arrived in Denmark this afternoon, and she's here in my apartment right now! We've just been (in my case re)reading your posts from the holidays, and norbertha asked me to tell you that she enjoyed your commentary. We're wondering whether you'll be posting any photos from the later stages of the trip?
I'm glad you enjoyed the holiday posts. Yes, I do intend to post more...I'll have to try to get something up before norbertha visits you again on Tuesday. Say 'hello' to her for me when you see her! :)

I've always loved this video for the artwork and creativity. And, yes, Morton Harket is fairly easy on the eyes. ;-)
I don't remember the video for "The Sun Always Shines on TV." It was bad?

I will. She had to go catch a train to her hotel, but I'll be seeing her again Tuesday.

Thanks for posting that "literal" interpretation! *LOL* I love that!
I like the eighties "squiggly lines" and the "Magic Frame." Really funny.
