Good to see a bit more of Karl and Josh. They might have a bond, but they still need to get to know each other.

Love Josh's independence. I think it will help him hold his own.

They definitely have a lot of catching up to do as far as learning about the other. Glad you're still enjoying Josh & the fic!

I love Josh's independence, too, but he's a little *too* perfect. He knows wine, he knows all about vampire lore, he's selfless enough to protest using any of Karl's money for anything.

Still, I am enjoying this series and seeing what the boys decide to do next.

I would like to think that Jo & I have shown that Josh isn't perfect & has made mistakes & has flaws. And the point is, he IS different than Orlando. He's a lot more worldly, he has more experience, and he's not afraid of that experience. If that makes him too perfect, then so be it. But I would hope that we've been clear about painting him as a three-dimensional character.

Karl has wicked humour throwing Josh at Trivinia´s mercy and enjoying it so much! But it looks like Josh will make him work harder on their relationship with his defiance!
