Oh noes!
thedoingofit got me this time!
1. Reply to this post, and I will pick six of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!

Ah little Alexandria from The Fall. Writing about this movie got me to delegate for the SFIAAFF and that was an opportunity I most enjoyed even though my eyes were constantly like this: O_O. Anyhow, I love the gaussian texture, the warm colours, and how it enhances not just the childish nature of Alexandria but also the blurry nostalgia involved with remembering the past.
Stewart and Colbert, delivering news to my doorstep since I started paying attention around 2008. Well, Stewart a little earlier on thanks to my government teacher senior year high school. Cable news networks are nothing but a speck of an embarrassing exposition on American media culture and these men have rescued me with their refusal to let anything pass them by without a thorough satirical spanking. Go strong, you guys. (Besides, I would love to have a drink with either one, but mostly with Stewart...)

Oh Kaylee. Firefly was so short-lived but it has gathered what a fanbase hm? Just a little dash of sunshine, an icon to embody my happiness and not just my unamused face.
My profile says, "princess bride cartoonified." And it is! Ohohoho, the Complete and Utterly Anti-Climatic Understatement Adventure continues! Fell in love with the picture when tumbling around and made it into an icon. That's all. If you want it, feel free to take.
North and South, how I love North and South. The BBC adaptation does no wrong except for altering the ending for a BETTER ENDING. Margaret is so endearing and stupid at the same time, she makes the little sentimental part of me bang on tables and throw plates at walls (but she's so very pretty in the party scene...) Don't even get me started on John Thorton/Richard Armitage. Don't even.
THE WIRE, HOW I LOVE THE WIRE. A show full of BAMF's and hard-core-ness, layers of complexities piled on layers of complexities, you didn't think Baltimore had this much to it, did you? Why are all my rants on icons turning into rants on advertising television shows? Argh, whatever. McNulty and Bunk. There's this great scene in season one when the both of them go inspect a crime scene together and they don't say a single word but you know, they were meant to be partners. SO GREAT. SO GREAT.
Let me know if you want to partake in this meme or not so then I won't be random and obnoxious and sic 6 icons on you when you didn't even want to participate. Hurgh.
By the way, in memory for those who served.
