past the birth weight
Growing like a weed. She had dropped down to 3 pounds 14.5 ounces but she started gaining two days or so ago, and now she's up past her birth weight. She's 4 pounds 7.5 ounces right now. That will change by morning. Everytime I see her and call up there, it's higher. She's starting to fill out a little on her legs and she doesn't look quite as wrinkled now. The nurses say she's just a good baby. Even when we visit and hold her, she doesn't cry. Most babies will cry after their parents leave when they get held. She never cries unless she needs something, or unless they're going after her with a diaper wipe. For some reason, a diaper wipe will make her scream like crazy. They're bottle feeding her every other feeding now. And she's getting nothing but my breast milk. This makes me really really happy. Seems like I do nothing but sleep and pump these days. I'm surprising the nurses with the amount I'm bringing in. I'm just determined to see my baby come home. If I have to sit on the pump all danged day, I will. :) Hopefully, since her bottle feeding is going well, they'll pull the feeding tube out by monday. I'm crossing my fingers.
