Music, friends and laughter. Ain't nothin' sound better to me!

Went to a christian concert thing last night instead of skating. Hung out with a friend and all. Music was nice, though the songs were the "sing-along" type - nice at first, but they repeat the same thing over after a point and so it gets a little monotonous. =/ But they played decently, lead singer sounded good (and looked good, too. >>) .. They had a girl up there to sing, but you rarely heard her voice. I'm not sure if she just doesn't sing loudly, or the fact that she rarely had the microphone directly in front of her mouth. And she looked kinda pouty. Seriously, its not a great image you're giving if you're gonna look all sad while praising God with music. But oh well. Near the end a youth pastor spoke for a little while. It was pretty cool. =) And the other guy who was talking about how happy he was being christian. He was awesome, and the excitement and happyness he gave off was pretty contagious too. ♥

After the concert, we went to get burgers at Sonic and then to my friend's house to visit. I played with the kitty with a toy ('stick' with a string and a toy on the end that jingled), and then the kitty wandered off and Katie (mah friend) took the toy and swung the jingle end at me as if I was a cat. which I jokingly played with. Her mom was all "Now don't tease the kitten. If she tries to scratch you its your own fault" and stuff. >> So I pretended to try to scratch Katie. And I dunno what else, but I ended up laughing so much I was crying and couldn't breath. Nothing more awesome than laughing so much, I think. Marisa and Phillip went into Pat (the mom)'s room to watch cartoons, and my mom joked that there "better not be any hanky panky" lmao. We talked about how the two of them are like, best friends. But they don't like each other as anything other than friends. Apparently Phillip once said, in regards to people saying they liked each other - "Marisa's my best friend, I don't like her" XD
And then me and Katie went to play a game on Phillips console. (Game 'Pitfall' on the.. gamecube?) Neither of us had played it before, and I haven't played on a console in a looooong time. ..And yet I didn't do too badly. We'd take turns playing after one of us would die, and we decided I'm better at certain things in the game, and she's better at other things, so we'd take advantage of that. Yay, teamwork!

I didn't get home till midnight, thanks to the hour-ish drive, but the drive home seemed shorter than the drive there. O.o crazy night time driving.

friends, music
