Hum. Today I drove on the interstate for... Oh, maybe the 3rd time ever. XD. Could, perhaps, be the 4th time, but either way. The time previous to this one, I was following someone else and it was a short distance, and any times before that, my dad was with me. This time it was just me and mom.
I should always take my mom's instructions with a grain of salt. After exiting off the interstate, I had to go around and cross over it. She was turned around on her directions and thought I went the wrong way. lol. Then, when coming home again and getting back on the interstate, she though I passed the entrance-thinger. ..There were signs saying "wrong way!" and such, for that particular road. Yeah.. There's a reason my mom doesn't drive, prime reason being the fact that her eyesight is terrible, and she never got her license when younger anyway.
But yeah, drive was uneventful, though coming home there was wind and snow. Its mildly distracting for me to see snow coming at me, as I found myself fascinated in looking at it. I managed to pay attention to the road, though. =)
So anyway, I took mom to this month's homeschool group's mom's night. And since the drive was about an hour one way, I had to stay there until it was over.
Ate food, including strawberry cheesecake and grapes, watched a christian movie, "Facing the Giants". It was a decent movie.... I don't like getting teary eyed during movies though. lol.
Much talking between the parents, including embarrassing stories between them, and people being judgemental (firefox spellcheck thinks that should be spelled "judgmental" .. is it right?), and drug users... and teaching/raising kids well. Weee. It was pretty interesting and at times amusing. =) Oh. There was also conversation about blogging. xD (Something was said about a person who comes home from a trip and blogs about it that same day. ..Ehehe. XD)
I should sleep now... I also want more white-chocolate or vanilla chips (not sure which they are) from mom's snack mix... ♥ teh sugar.
