I came home to a sauna. When I let the dogs out, I went around to the A/C unit outside and the fan wasn't on. Hmmm. I went back inside, I cranked the thermostat down so that the A/C fan should kick in, but nothing. GREAT.
I went inside the house and checked the vents. Air was coming out, but it wasn't cool--it was like room temperature air moving around. UGH. It's been 100*f+ for months here so this is NOT the time for the A/C to be out of whack! Luckily, we have a home warranty so any service call is $60 and our A/C is covered. If we need a new unit, it should be covered. I called to schedule a service request so hopefully the tech will call ASAP because my poor pooches are here when I'm at work! You know schools are cancelled when the A/C breaks down there!
I immediately stripped and tied my hair up. I'm so sticky and sweaty--I dont know how I'm going to sleep tonight :oX The leather couch felt warm when I sat down--like I just pulled it out from the dryer. BLEH!
