yay artsy fartsy time!
Whoot! I signed up for my beginners wheel & hand building class today :o) I'm really excited--I've always wanted to work with a pottery wheel ever since Ghost hehe. Plus, I haven't done anything with clay in a long time so I'm really looking forward to it.
I start in 3 weeks, meet 10-1 every Saturday for 8 weeks. I have a list of supplies I need to get:
*50 lbs. Clay (one box, 2 bags in box) cone 10 high fired stoneware, Balcones or Dillo White
*Kemper tool kit
*Fettling knife
The clay, I was told, could be purchased from our instructor at the first day of class so I only have to worry about those 2 tool thingies.
