hair progress & cruise dress
My hair grows like a freakin' weed. When I first got it cut, it was pretty much at my chin. Four months later, it's at my collar bone. I'm not complaining since I've been trying to grow my hair out, but DANG! It's much easier to tell with shorter hair than when it's long.
This was when I first lobbed everything off in Sept. '06...my expression is pretty goofy :oP
This is from Nov. '06 when I got a trimmy trim. I got the back shortened, but didnt get the front cut.
This was from this AM Jan.'07...you can definitely tell it has grown!
I feel pretty blessed to have hair that'll just grow and grow! I read in all these hair communities of people taking vitamins and what not to try and get their hair to grow, but not me :oD Tee hee..I think I'm due for a trim soon! Ok, maybe not, but I just LOVE having my scalp massaged when I get shampooed/conditioned with some tingley mint shampoo!
Since I stayed late at work yesterday, I left a lil' early today. Lisa, lkf03, you picked a good week to miss work--there's NO CERTS to work on past lunch time, so I've been orgazinging blue books for HOURS! Gah, it's so boring. So, I started looking for dresses for the cruise. Well, I saw a cute dress on JC Penny's website so I went there after work and tried it on. It looks really cute (I'll model tomorrow) and the price was right (on sale for $40) so I bought it along with a couple of cute tank tops and a hoodie.

I tried on about 10 other dresses, but this was definitely my favorite. They had about 3 other dresses in this exact style, but different colors. I picked the black and red since it was sort of "Asian". Then I tried on halter top styled dresses and strapless, but this is the most flattering for my body type. And since it was so cheap, I may go ahead and buy a 2nd dress since I had budgeted at least $100 for a dress.
Anyway, shower and sleep time..gnite!
