That was fun!
Iron Man was as awesome as I remembered. Not a big crowd, but we had Raea, Gary and Nancy which isn't bad at all for shortish notice and on a weeknight! We watched the deleted scenes. Some of them added to the friendship between Rhodes and Stark. That was nice. Snickering at the Dubai party scene. We've heard that they used a villa in Mirdif. Parts of it sure look like they could have! Though I'm sure they could have found something similar in looks closer to home.
I got home with three hours to do a bunch of stuff before the movie, including prep and printing for tomorrow's class. We got a new printer/copier for the department, and it's being chaotic getting everyone connected to it. I figured it was better to just not bother trying to get my comp working with it tomorrow. I'll deal with it next week. So I had a mad dash to get stuff done, but I managed! Including marking a pop quiz. Whee! They didn't do half bad, though. Two of the three questions were from that day's reading, of the sort that are easy to answer if you did the reading and impossible if you didn't. Most people evidently had done the reading!
I wish I could go to Obama tomorrow, but I'm teaching. Since I'm the TA, I can't just cancel like some teachers are doing. And tomorrow night, we're going over to help Keira paint and whatever she needs help with! I'll be brain-fried from teaching, but that won't hurt painting.
