Power of the Daleks
Well, isn't this a nice birthday present:
The BBC just announced that a newly-animated version of "Power of the Daleks"--the first serial featuring Patrick Troughton as the second Doctor--will be broadcast in its entirety on BBC America on November 12th.
This new version of "Power" will use the surviving audio from its broadcast 50 years ago(!) to bring one of the lost episodes of Classic Who back to the fans.
The 2016 Xmas special with Peter Capaldi's twelfth Doctor should air a month later.
