Last week, I received new anime from both Right Stuf and DVD Planet. From Right Stuf, I received the first 2 volumes of To Heart (one of my favorite animes), and from DVD Planet, I received the 2nd volumes of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Tsubasa Chronicle (quite a crossover from of CLAMP series) and Kashimashi ~Girl Meets Girl~. I should be receiving the 2nd Volume of Girl's High when the street date arrives. I found out I am willing to go to T-Mode after all and decided not to drive down for this trip. Instead, I asked my fellow DAS'er, Stacey, if she can pick me up, and she said she would. I would be willing to give my part for gas and parking. I figured, it's free, I don't have to pay for pre-reg (since DAS won 15 passes), I would be silly not to attend, plus I get to save my miles for November's Nekocon at Hampton, VA. Also, Stacey let me know that the Holiday Inn was ready to take reservations for next year's Otakon, so I hopped on the phone and made the reservation for 2 queen beds in a non-smoking room. I figured the Days Inn would be a long shot, plus I have been very satisfied with the Holiday Inn for the last 2 years. One more thing, from an eBay seller I got a used but very good copy of Volume 4 of To Heart.
