Countdown of the Year # 1 - Albums
Well, my decade lists require more thought, so for now I will stick to the top albums of 2009. This wont be an easy list either, but there is far less competition this year! I was surprised how little competition there was, and some of the contenders wouldnt even normally make it in to my top 20s! A bit of a mixed buch this year:
10) Daniel Merriweather - Love & War
09) Biffy Clyro - Only Revolutions
08) Michael Giacchino - Lost Season 4 Score
07) Kelly Clarkson - All I Ever Wanted
06) Little Boots - Hands
05) Hockey - Mind Chaos
04) Muse - The Resistance
03) The Hot Melts - The Hot Melts
02) Green Day - 21st Century Breakdown
01) Breaking Benjamin - Dear Agony
Although the best album releases of the year have clearly been The Beatles remastered ones. And another thumbs up to the 60s with The Boat That Rocked soundtrack!
And another mention to the Virgins who would have made the top 6 had it not come out last year, I was just slow on the uptake!
