Countdown of the Decade # 1 - TV Shows
I have decided to return to LJ posting to keep a permanant record of the best of the noughties. My first top 10 is the best 10 TV shows of the decade.
10: The Take (Sky1)
09: Fringe (Sky1) - Not quite as good as the X Files yet, but it could be. The Bishops are the best family on TV, Walter makes this show!
08: Chuck (Virgin 1) - Unfaultable, funny, action, hot ladys, great characters. It really is brilliant!
07: Planet Earth / Life (BBC) Even better in HD, fascinating stuff! Cant decide between the two so will put them both in as one entry!
06: The Office - (BBC)
05: Prison Break (Channel 5 / Sky1) - At its best it was as good as anything I have ever seen.
04: The Inbetweeners (E4) - Unfaultable, genius comedy. It could be about me.
03: Band of Brothers (BBC) - Sublime.
02: Big Brother (Ch4) - Yes, Big Brother.
01: LOST (Ch4 / Sky1) - Not only the best thing on TV this decade, probably the greatest show of all time. And probably better than most movies as well. Its up there with Star Wars for me!
And mentions for Deadwood, Lie to Me, 15 Storeys High and Jericho.
